Show Notes

Scaling a business isn’t easy. In fact, most of the time it can feel like a game of whack-a-mole. Every time you think you’ve achieved balance, another fire needs to be put out. Or, you find yourself lacking in one area while over performing in another.

Basics To Scaling A Business In The Fitness Industry

Here are just a few of the things I talk about in my speech on scaling a business:

Scaling A Business Is Tough When Employees Lack Certainty

It happens… employees aren’t certain you’re the one to lead them. They’re not sure where the business is going or if there’s any security in it.

This is one of the most difficult aspects of scaling a business. You’re not only responsible for growing your business, but for taking care of the team you hired.

Obviously, they have to do their part (what you pay them for), but the last thing you want is uncertainty with the direction you’re headed and how you plan to get there.

How To Create Systems That Increase Customer Satisfaction

Systems and processes are critical to scaling a business. The whole reason for scaling is so the business runs itself instead of you having to run it.

Think of yourself as a coach. You draw up the plays and when your team executes those plays exactly how you’ve drawn them up, you (and they) win. Speaking of employees…

What Assessments To Use To Hire Rock Star Employees

At Loud Rumor, we have every employee do a D.I.S.C. assessment. This helps us understand who they are as an individual, and how best to communicated, coach, and motivate them for success.

Scaling a business requires a strong team. Here’s a great lesson in hiring A Players.

Scaling A Business? The Catapult Of Growth Loud Rumor Used And How To Leverage It In Your Business

I’m not going to break this one down here in text… this is one you definitely have to watch in the video. Trust me, if you’re scaling a business, it’s worth it!

How To Track Performance And Develop High Performing Employees

What gets measured, gets done. How do you know where you’ve been, what improvements you’ve made (if any), and what you need to do for a brighter future without tracking it?

No fitness coach would just run the same old routine for a client and just sit back and “hope” for results. They’d track weight, body fat percentage, nutrition, reps, sets, effort, and more!

In order for your business to scale, you need to know your numbers. What numbers? I explain in the video.

The Importance Of The Sales Process In Your Business

Sales grows businesses. Period. If you’re not making sales, and multiplying your client base, your natural attrition will eat you alive.

There’s absolutely no way to scale your business without sales. And, there’s no way to increase sales month-over-month, year-over-year without a dialed-in sales process and team to execute it.

How Loud Rumor Is Able To Add A Net Of $40K In MRR Each Month

This is where you put it all together. Again, I don’t want to break it all down here. It’s worth watching it in the video!

And that’s just scratching the surface! There’s a lot more in this talk and I truly believe you’ll get a lot out of it and will learn what’s required when scaling a business.
