Want to improve the company culture at your fitness studio? Of course you do, what leader doesn’t want that?
You want your employees to want to work with you and believe in the mission of growing your fitness studio. So, how do you get to that point? What does it take?
In this episode, I’m going to share with you how we dramatically improved our culture at Loud Rumor with the help of sticky notes!
Company Culture Comes Down Individualism
Too often, companies treat people as part of a department or group… you do the “marketing,” right? Unfortunately, this makes employees feel as though they’re stuck. When really…
Your employees want to feel like they’re part of something bigger than themselves. It gives them purpose! On top of that, they want to grow as individuals. They want to feel like their individualism is an important part of your company culture.
So how do you achieve that? We did it with sticky notes!
What we have each employee do is create professional and personal goals. Then, each person creates a canvas board that visually represents their goals.
From there, each day before they start work, and before they leave for the day, employees write their goals on a sticky note and sticks that note next to their goal board.
What All Of This Represents For Company Culture
As time goes on, the wall fills up with sticky notes and people quickly see themselves as part of the company culture.
They’ll see their personal and professional growth, as well as the personal and professional growth of others. On top of that, they’ll know their role in the growth of the company.
Which of course, means the company is achieving the mission the employee believes in!
